Last week I went to see "Days of Sun". It's about a 21-year-old English girl, Julia Ford, who goes to Canada for the summer. There she meets a Canadian boy, Mike Finch. They become very good friends and fall in love. They want to marry, but Julia doesn't want to leave her family in England, and Mike can't leave Canada because his mother is ill and he promises to look after her at home.
The film is set in Vancouver and London. The director is James Harley and it stars Alice Ray as Julia and Frank Bussell as Mike.
I think "Days of Sun" is a fantastic film. The soundtrack is excellent, and the storyline is exciting. I really liked the film because it's happy and sad at the same time. I don't usually like watching romantic films, but I'm very glad I decided to see this one and I might see it again in future.
