The graph below compares the popularity of two music websites for a given period (15 days). Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below.
The site called (1st name) had a high starting point with about 120 000 visitors, whereas the second one ,(2nd name), had only 40 000 visitors the first day. The former continued with a substantial decline in hits, coming down to 38 000. (2nd) attracted a stable inflow and fluctuated within limits for the first 7 days.
The second half of the period (1st) site experienced a steep increase in visits and reached its first peak at a little above 140 000. At the same time, its rival followed a somewhat similar trend, but its climax was attained one day after (1st)'s. Until the end of the surveyed period (1st) kept its dominant position and on the 14th and 15th day it received 162 000 and 163 000 clicks, respectively. (2nd) was way below on 14th and the gap widened on 15th day (120, 70 000).
The overall popularity of the (1st) is obvious. However, both sites had attracted more attention by the end of the investigated period.
